Clean Commute

Multi-Modal Transport

The World Trade Center supports the greater New York region with transit access that allows commuters to travel efficiently with less impact on emissions and infrastructure. Our campus connects to many modes of transport and encourages pedestrian travel through a network of streets and underground corridors that connect to the rest of Lower Manhattan.

Bike Infrastructure

In collaboration with NYC DOT, additional organizations, and campus stakeholders, the World Trade Center is continually evolving to support a growing cycling network on campus by increasing bike parking, adding striping for shared lanes, and hosting bike partnership events.

EV Charging Stations

The Port Authority is working toward vehicle electrification across all its facilities. As part of this agency-wide initiative, World Trade Center infrastructure was adapted to support the Port Authority electric vehicle fleet on campus.
