Coming Soon: Spring and Summer Programming at WTC
Spring has officially sprung in NYC! With that comes the launch of WTC’s full schedule of spring and summer events. The lineup includes various free, and open to the public activities. Many of the long-running, annual events will return including Smorgasburg, Wellness Wednesdays and Oculus Outdoors. There will also be a few newer additions from 2023 returning such as the silent disco to celebrate Pride Month, another wildlife animal art installation by world renowned artists, Gillie and Marc, and cultural celebrations such as events for AAPI Month. Below are a few highlights of the upcoming spring and summer programming:
Launching May 8
In partnership with Sputnik Yoga, a range of fitness and wellness classes will be held on select Wednesdays on North Oculus Plaza. Programming ranges from yoga and meditation to HIIT for participants of all interests and skill level.
Launching April 5
A favorite among many workers and tourists is Smorgasburg! Enjoy a variety of eats and treats from over 20 local vendors on Fridays through October. Take a stroll down Fulton Street and discover your new Friday go-to while taking in all the sights and sounds of the outdoor food market.
Open for the season on April 1
Come experience the Oculus Beer Garden and take in breathtaking city views while unwinding in a unique, outdoor setting. Enjoy a refreshing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage and tasty pretzel.
Launching July 12
A free movie with an iconic view? Mark your calendars for select Friday nights and Saturday afternoons this summer where we will screen two movies: family-friendly flicks on Friday evenings and kids-friendly movies on Saturday matinees.
Launching June 4
Shop for fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, and dairy products from local farms at the Grow NYC Greenmarket at the Oculus every Tuesday.
