OVERVIEW

The World Trade Campus is owned and operated by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. There's always something new at the World Trade Center, whether it's the installation of new bike infrastructure or the opening of an art exhibit at Liberty Park. Stay up to date on what has happened (and what's coming up) at the 16-acre World Trade Center campus from local, national, and global news sources. 

Media guidelines for on-site reporting

There are several guidelines Media needs to follow in order to film at the World Trade Center campus due to security reasons:

 

Media are welcome to film in the Oculus or Liberty Park or other public spaces on World Trade Center campus (Oculus Plazas, 2WTC Plaza, Cortlandt Way, etc) with written approval from the Port Authority Press Office. Please call (212) 435-7777 or email press@panynj.gov to obtain written approval. Requests for written approval will be processed during regular business hours (M-F 9am-5pm).

 

For access to Liberty Park and public areas of Oculus, approval must be received in advance. Media cannot film or photograph inside the Vehicular Security Center. For additional information about both commercial and non-commercial filming and photography at the World Trade Center, please visit our Doing Business Page.

 

Crew must have valid media credentials on hand and ready to present to security if prompted at all times.
