Sing for Hope

Overview

Come join Westfield and celebrate International Piano Day on March 28th, where there will be two Sing for Hope pianos available for open play from Monday, March 25th to Friday, March 29th.  To celebrate, two new Sing for Hope Pianos have been created by Sing for Hope Artist In Residence Patrick Freeman. Each has created a matching inverted color palette and swirling imagery that unifies the two instruments. One piano is a traditional full-sized upright, the second is a miniature piano with only 73 keys.

A professional dueling pianos performance will take place on Thursday, March 28, 1-2pm and featuring Sing for Hope Music Teacher & Collaborative Pianist Chris Piro and Sing for Hope Artist Partner Riko Higuma.

International Piano Day always falls on the 88th day of the year, a nod to the 88 keys on a piano. This year, the 88th day falls on Thursday, March 28.

To celebrate Earth Day, there will be a performance on April 22 at 12-2pm.
