The Daffodil Project Community Planting

Overview

Join us for a community daffodil planting event to honor the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 as part of the "Daffodil Project." Come to North Oculus Plaza to plant bulbs that will bloom next spring or take bulbs home to plant in your own garden or flower pots.

About the Daffodil Project

New Yorkers for Parks’ Daffodil Project is a living memorial for the victims of 9/11. Since 2001, New Yorkers for Parks (NY4P) has distributed over 8 million free bulbs to be planted citywide by more than 400,000 young students, parks and gardening groups, civic organizations, corporate volunteers, and others. Bulbs are planted in public spaces across the five boroughs to spread beauty and hope across the city.
