On display in front of America's Response Monument in Liberty Park, this memorial is made up of 7,040 dog tags and 50 gold stars that form an American flag. Veterans and Athletes United (VAU) created the memorial, which travels to locations across the United States, to honor fallen heroes who fought for their country following the tragedy of September 11, 2001.
